Missed payments can impact your credit score. This makes it more difficult to get a mortgage, or re-mortgage in the future.

In 2022 one in ten people missed an energy bill payment, and this figure is set to rise substantially in 2023.

Younger people are more likely to have missed payments. In 2022 29% of 18-34-year olds said they had missed an energy bill payment, more than double that of the national average. Londoners have also been struggling, with nearly 30% saying they missed an energy bill payment in 2022.

If your credit score has been affected, there are still options. If you would like to discuss the topic please get in touch, initial enquiries are free and no obligation.
