The current market is extremely busy and we are experiencing levels of business not seen for several years. It is now common for agents to ask first-time buyers for proof of a mortgage in principle before they can actually view properties. As an advisor you are also able to indicate what buyers can afford.


Viewings are extremely competitive so it pays to be prepared. Attending a viewing with a clear idea of your maximum budget and the ability to prove a mortgage has been agreed in principle can be the difference needed.
