Numbers to watch this week if you have an upcoming mortgage to fix....

This week sees the release of some important U.K data for anyone with a mortgage. Inflation related numbers are due out on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a large drop expected for headline inflation.




Economist are expecting a drop in headline inflation to 6.8%, from 7.9%. The main driver of this being the recent fall in the energy price cap, expected to reduce the average household bill by around £500 from July.
